This Cookie Policy explains how SayShan Technologies ("Fahmix AI") uses cookies and similar technologies on fahmix.com, the tenant dashboard, and the embedded chat widget. Fahmix AI is privacy-first: we set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, ever.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We also use functionally equivalent technologies — localStorage for your theme preference and in-memory tokens for an active session. We treat all of them under this policy.
2. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary — the NextAuth session cookie that keeps you signed into the dashboard, and a CSRF token. These cannot be disabled because the product does not function without them.
- Preference — your selected language and light/dark theme, stored locally so the site renders the way you left it. No personal data leaves your device.
- Analytics (opt-in, per tenant) — when a tenant explicitly enables product analytics, a first-party PostHog cookie measures aggregate usage. Off by default. Never used for advertising.
3. What we never set
- Third-party advertising or retargeting cookies
- Cross-site tracking pixels or fingerprinting scripts
- Data brokers or social "like button" trackers
4. The chat widget
The widget a tenant embeds on their site uses only a first-party session identifier to maintain conversation continuity. It does not read the host site's cookies and is sandboxed from the tenant's own analytics.
5. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will sign you out of the dashboard. Preference and analytics technologies can be cleared at any time without affecting core functionality.
6. Changes & contact
We'll update this policy as our practices evolve and revise the "last updated" date above. Questions go to [email protected].
Cookie behaviour for EU end-users is also governed by the tenant's own consent banner and the Fahmix AI Privacy Policy. Where local law requires prior consent for non-essential storage, the widget defers until consent is recorded.
